Freshman Erica "Boo" Schubert curved her corner kick in for the Gators' first goal at 20:51. Keisha Bell gave UF a 2-0 halftime lead, hitting her first goal of the season from 35-yards at 43:04. The Gators held the Tigers to no shots in the opening half of play.

"Auburn was well prepared to play against us," UF Head Coach Becky Burleigh said. "I thought we had a good defensive effort, only allowing two shots for the match. I was a little disappointed in our lack of ability to finish today."

UF's goalkeepers Jordan Kellgren (first half) and Regan Wiesemann (second half) had no saves Sunday. Auburn's goalkeeper Theresa Campioli turned in nine saves for the match.  The Gators outshot the Tigers 19-2. It was the second lowest opponent shot production of the season. Florida held Louisiana State University to zero shots on Sept. 24 for the lowest opponent shot number this season.

Next up, the Gators return home for the final weekend of the regular season. UF plays host to South Carolina on Friday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. and No. 14 Clemson on Sunday, Oct. 31 at 1 p.m.
