The Gators scored a goal in each half. Sophomore Andi Sellers got the Gators on the board early at 4:55. Keisha Bell sent a long cross in to the back post, which Sellers struck for a six-yard goal. In just under 10 minutes of second half play, Danielle Murphy sent in a corner kick, which sophomore Abby Wambach headed in from six-yards out for her 20th goal of the season.

"It was a good performance for us all the way around," Burleigh said. "Clemson is an excellent team. This is a team that will go far in the NCAA Tournament. They've got some good weapons up top and in the midfield. For us to come out like we did, I thought we were really dangerous and maybe could have scored a couple more. Our defense did a good job of not letting Clemson get very many good looks at the goal."

UF's starting goalkeeper Jordan Kellgren turned in two saves, while CU's Katie Carson posted eight saves. For the match, Florida outshot the Tigers 16-5.

Florida now advances to the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Nashville, Tenn. The Gators, the tournament's top seed with a league record of 9-0, starts play on Thursday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. against No. 8 seed Arkansas.
