UF Hoops Signs Top Rated Recruit

James White, one of the top 10 rated high school players in the nation, has signed a national letter of intent with the University of Florida, Gator head coach Billy Donovan announced Friday.
White, a 6-6, 195-pound guard from Kensington, Maryland, is currently a senior at Hargrave Military Academy. Generally regarded as one of the most athletic prep stars in the nation, White averaged 23.1 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game and 3.6 assists per game at Kensington High School as a junior. White led his team to a 30-12 record and the private school state championship, while shooting 46 percent from the floor and 82 percent from the foul line.
White also considered North Carolina, Duke and Maryland in the recruiting process.
