Twenty-six Student-Athletes to Graduate Saturday

Twenty-six University of Florida student-athletes, managers and athletic department student assistants will participate in graduation ceremonies at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center Saturday.
"We are extremely proud of each of these student-athletes for their accomplishments," Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley said. "They represent all that we strive for in this program: academic and athletic excellence."
The 2000 fall graduating class is highlighted by eight Gator football players. Both the women's track and field and soccer programs have three graduates and the men's track and field program two. The baseball, softball, women's golf, men's golf, women's swimming, men's swimming, volleyball programs will also have representatives earning their degrees.
Football player Marquand Manuel and soccer player Sarah Yohe will be honored at commencement ceremonies as two of the University of Florida's most outstanding leaders.
