UF-Clemson Rnd of 16 Soccer Match on WRUF AM-850

The No. 6 seed University of Florida soccer team's (19-3-1, 8-1 SEC) match vs. Clemson (15-4-1, 4-3 ACC) for the NCAA Third Round on Sunday, Nov. 25 will be broadcast live on WRUF AM-850 Radio. Match time is set for 2:00 p.m. at Percy Beard Stadium. This is the first Gator soccer match to be broadcast on WRUF AM-850, although several UF matches have been Internet broadcast in the 2000 and '01 seasons. For those outside the listening area, Gator soccer fans can hear play-by-play action of the match at www.GatorZone.com. Bernie Guenther and Hall Hunt will handle announcing duties for Sunday's broadcast.
Florida advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 with a 3-0 victory over Georgia on Sunday, while the Tigers moved ahead with a 1-0 win vs. Florida State. This is the second time the two teams have met this month. Florida took a 4-1 win vs. Clemson on Nov. 3 to finish out the regular season. UF owns a 2-1 lead in the all-time UF-CU series.
Tickets for the Nov. 25 UF-CU match are $7.00 for adults, and $3.00 for children 17 and under, students and senior citizens. Admission is free for UF students with valid Gator 1 ID cards.
