Reyes, who battled through three rounds of qualifying before Thursday's match, defeated Fresno State's Chole Carlotti 6-4, 6-0 to advance.
Dawaf plays No. 7-seeded and eighth-ranked Kate Pinchbeck of North Carolina on Friday, while Reyes challenges Duke's 16th-ranked Amanda Johnson.
