Enrolled at UF in January 2003 and is eligible to compete immediately.
PRIOR TO FLORIDA:
Trained at ZTE Tennis Club in Zalaegerszeg, Hungary… coached by her father, Istvan… 11-time Hungarian Championships winner… ranked No.2 in singles and doubles competition in the under-18 Hungarian national rankings… ranked No.55 in singles and 30 in doubles competition in the ITF's 2001 junior rankings… represented her country on its national team since age 13… won the under-14 Hungarian Championships in singles, doubles and team competition … earned first place in singles and second place in doubles competition at the 2001 under-18 ITF Tournament… reached the quarterfinals of singles competition in the under-18 2001 European Championships in Switzerland… took third place in the 2000 Junior Australian Open… competed in several presitigous juniors tournaments: the Orange Bowl in 1999, the French Open in 2001 and Wimbledon in 2002, where she advanced to the Round of 16.

Full name is Boglarka Berecz-Szatmari… earned her high school degree from Nyolcosltalyos Gimnazium in 2002… coached by her father Istvan since age 5 … began competing in tennis tournaments at age 10 … lists most exciting event as staying in Australia for six months by herself at 14 for the Junior Australian Open… considers most memorable moment winning third place in doubles competition of that tournament… admires tennis players Monica Seles and Steffi Graf … enjoys the competition aspect of tennis… has visited "almost every country in Europe," Australia and Japan… listens to musicians Faith Hill, Celine Dion and Alicia Keys… winning an NCAA title is her tennis career goal … majoring in Liberal Arts & Sciences.
