Head Coach Ron Zook
Opening Statement:
"We are in a position to control our own destiny. Our football team understands that, and the open week was right at a perfect time. [Athletic Director] Jeremy [Foley] did a great job of scheduling it right when we could use some rest. We are as healthy as we can possibly be after eight games. We are going to need everybody and they will be ready to go. We are playing a great football team. They are the number four team in the nation and very athletic. This game is as exciting as any I have been involved with at any level."
Center Mike Degory
On this week's game:
"It's going to be the biggest challenge of the year, that's for sure. It's a neutral site where the stands will be 50-50. It's easy for the momentum to swing. It's gonna be a dog fight. It's as big a rivalry as there is. We are all looking forward to it."
Quarterback Chris Leak
On Georgia's defense:
"They've done a great job all year. Coach [Mark] Richt does a great job of getting those guys ready. On film, they are really fast."
On what he expects come Saturday:
"Coach Zook told us that this game has been played before we were born. It's always a huge game. It's a special feeling to be a part of it."
