Wednesday, February 12, 2003 | Baseball
The University of Florida baseball program has accepted an invitation to play an exhibition game Wednesday, March 26, 2003 against the Spanish National Team at McKethan Stadium. The game will not count toward the NCAA 56-game maximum.
The exhibition game will be free to the public with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET.
"This is a great opportunity for our ballclub to showcase their talents against a national team," said head coach Pat McMahon.
The Gators opened the season with two straight victories and host four games this week. They first play Charleston Southern today at 5:30 p.m. and then host state rival Miami Feb. 14-16 at McKethan Stadium.
