Softball Hosts Fall Round Robin

The University of Florida softball will end their fall practice time with the Gator Fall Round Robin on Friday, Oct. 15 and Saturday, Oct.16. The Gators will host Florida Southern College, Wallace-Dothan Community College, Manatee Community College and Santa Fe Community College in the 10-game tournament.
Games begin at 2 p.m. on Friday with Florida Southern Facing off against Manatee Community College. Florida Southern and Santa Fe will follow at 4 p.m. The first glimpse of the 2005 Gator squad will come at 6 p.m. Friday as Florida faces Wallace-Dothan CC. The last game Friday evening will pit Manatee CC against Wallace-Dothan.
Florida opens Saturday play against Florida Southern at 10 a.m. Wallace Dothan CC and Florida Southern will face off at noon, followed by Santa Fe and Wallace-Dothan at 2 p.m. Florida will play Manatee CC at 4 p.m., then have a break while Manatee and Santa Fe face off at 6 p.m. The Gators will close the tournament with a game against the cross-town Santa Fe Saints at 8 p.m. Saturday.
The games are limited to a one hour, 40 minute time limit. All games are open to the public and admission is free. There will be no concessions available for these fall games.
