W-Tennis Completes Play at UM Fall Classic

The University of Florida women's tennis team completed action at the University of Miami Fall Classic collecting one victory each on the singles and doubles courts.
Sophomore Nina Suvak, who was the only Gator involved in a singles match Sunday, defeated Miami's Juliette Mavroleon 7-6 (5) 0-6, 1-0 (10-7). The win was Suvak's third during UF's two-day participation.
Suvak also paired with freshman Alex Liles and posted a thrilling 9-8 (7-3) victory against Vanderbilt's Audra Falk and Taka Bertrand.
The entire UF squad returns to action on Fri., Oct. 22, when the Gators travel to Tuscaloosa, Ala., to compete in the ITA South Regional Championships. The two singles finalist and the doubles champion from this event receive a bid into the ITA National Indoor Championships, the second of three national collegiate tournaments.
