Raymond's Olympic Run Ends in Doubles Quarterfinal

Former University of Florida tennis star Lisa Raymond (USA) lost on Thursday in the quarterfinal round of the 2004 Olympic doubles competition played at The Olympic Tennis Centre located within the Athens Olympic Sports Complex.
Pairing with Martina Navratilova as the No. 3 seed in the 32-team Olympic doubles draw, Raymond and Navratilova fell to fifth-seeded Shinobu Asagoe and Ai Sugiyama of Japan 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
The thrilling match, which lasted one hour, 57 minutes, concludes Raymond's inaugural Olympic experience, as she lost in the third round of the singles draw on Wednesday.
