Florida Soccer Leads with 15 on SEC Academic Honor Roll

The University of Florida soccer team led the league with 15 student-athletes appearing on the 2004 Southeastern Conference Fall Academic Honor Roll, which was announced Friday by the SEC Office. The 2004 SEC Academic Honor Roll is based on grades from the 2004 spring, summer and fall semesters. A student athlete must have a 3.0 (or higher) for the academic year or cumulative to be named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. The 15 is the second-highest number in school history. Florida placed 18 soccer players on the 2002 SEC Academic Honor Roll.
Florida's representatives (with majors) include seniors Stephanie Freeman (Health Science Education), Jen Gardner (Exercise Physiology), Katie Johnston (Psychology), Ashley Kellgren (Criminology & Psychology), juniors Lindsey Affolter (Sports Management), Colleen Donovan (Economics), Brittni Goodwin (Psychology), Cherry Pickman (English), Amber Presnick (Physical Education), Jessica Young (Psychology & Anthropology), sophomores Melanie Booth (Fitness and Wellness), Kelli Eisenbrown (Health Sciences- Physical Therapy), Ananda Erickson (Health Science Education), Ansley Myrick (Communication Sciences and Disorders), and redshirt freshmen Daniela Sanchez (Sports Management).
