The No. 7 University of Florida men's track and field team returns to action this weekend for the Gators' final tune-up before the Southeastern Conference Championships when Florida will compete in the Iowa State Classic Feb. 11-12.
The Gators, who are coming off a successful showing at the Gator Invitational last Sunday, enter the meet with six athletes ranked among the top 15 in their respective events in the nation. Individually, the Gators are led by sophomores Kerron Clement (La Porte, Texas) and Mike Morrison (Willingboro, N.J.). Clement is ranked in the top 10 in three individual events (200m, 400m, 60mH) and sports the No. 2 time in the country in the 400m (46.13). He also is a member of the Gators' 4x400m team.
