University of Florida women's tennis junior Diana Srebrovic had her run at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships come to an end Friday afternoon in the quarterfinal round at the Riviera Tennis Club.
Srebrovic began Friday's play with a solid 6-1, 7-5 victory over Notre Dame's Catrina Thompson in the round of 16, before falling to Miami's No. 1-ranked Audra Cohen, 6-4, 6-3.
UF's Whitney Benik and Nina Suvak advanced to the semifinals of the consolation doubles event without playing a point, as Stanford's Erin Burdette and Anne Yelsey defaulted. The Gator pair then lost to Kentucky's Kim Coventry and Carolina Escamilla, 8-5, to conclude their stay at the national event.
