Gainesville, Fla. – The University of Florida football squad will graduate eight players following the completion of the fall semester. The graduates will be recognized Saturday at a graduation luncheon with respective senior student-athletes from Florida's athletic programs Saturday in the Touchdown Terrace at 11:15.
Three starters from the offensive line will earn their diploma; All-SEC linemen center Drew Miller (Sarasota, Fla.), tackle Carlton Medder (Clermont, Fla.) and Phil Trautwein (Voorhees, N.J.), who sat out this season because of an injury. UF's all-time reception leader, wide receiver Andre Caldwell (Tampa, Fla.), will receive his diploma after completing his studies in sociology.
Running back Markus Manson (Tuscaloosa, Ala.) will graduate after focusing his studies in criminology. Tight end Derek Baldry (Gainesville, Fla.), who appeared in all 12 games this year on special teams, will depart with a degree in journalism. Defensive tackle Clint McMillan (Oviedo, Fla.), similar to Caldwell, majored in sociology.
Moise Paul (Brooklyn, N.Y.) and Trautwein each earned their respective degrees in Youth, Family and Community Sciences.
