Frangulyan Continues Run at W-Tennis Freeman Memorial Classic

University of Florida senior Lolita Frangulyan marched into the final of the Flight Two singles draw at the Freeman Memorial Classic on Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on the UNLV campus.
Frangulyan earned wins over UNLV's Nikol Dimitrova, 6-2, 7-5 in the quarterfinal before topping Arizona State's Lauren Megale, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinal round to move into Sunday's final where she will play ASU's Jessica Leitch for the title.
Frangulyan also paired with sophomore Anastasia Revzina and defeated UNLV's Elena Gantcheva and Kristina Nedeltcheva, 9-7 in the Flight One doubles quarterfinal and will play North Carolina's Austin Smith and Katrina Tsang in the semifinals on Sunday.
Gator sophomore Csilla Borsanyi had her solid run in the Flight One draw come to an end in the semifinals, where she dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Southern California's Amanda Fink. In her quarterfinal contest on Saturday morning, Borsanyi downed Stanford's Hilary Barte, 6-0, 6-2.
Revzina won her Flight One consolation quarterfinal match, but defaulted in the semifinal to conclude her participation in the singles event.
