Head Coach Roland Thornqvist Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Roland Thornqvist addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All Sport Media Day.

Coach Thornqvist provided his early assessment of the 2007-08 squad, which plays host to Stetson on Wednesday in the team's season-opening dual match, and talked about the addition of newcomers Julia Cohen and Marrit Boonstra.

He also discussed and fielded questions about the expectations the team has with the addition of such talented new players, on why younger players should attend college before turning professional, on former Gator great Lisa Raymond and on the challenge of opening the season playing three matches in four days.
