UF Men's Golf team set for Columbia Invitational

The University of Florida men's golf team heads to Atlantic City, N.J. this weekend for the Columbia Invitational, the Gators final tournament of the fall season.
This is the inaugural Columbia Invitational. Columbia and Galloway National Golf Club will also host one of six NCAA Regional's to be held in May of 2009.
Junior Tim McKenney (Scottsdale, Ariz.) makes his first team appearance of the season after finishing in second place at the Duke Individual Collegiate October 13-14. Senior Toby Ragland (Jacksonville, Fla.) and junior Tyson Alexander (Gainesville, Fla.) will be making their third appearances of the season, while senior Will Strickler (Charlottesville, Va.) and freshman Mu Hu (Shen Zhen, China) will each be making their second appearance.
Florida is the highest-rated team in the field according to the Golfweek/Sagarin performance index at No. 20. There are three other teams in the field ranked in the top-100 in the latest ratings. TCU's Scott Roudebush is the highest-rated individual scheduled to play this weekend, currently No. 46 in the Golfweek/Sagarin individual index.
The tournament is scheduled to begin Friday, October 24 and conclude Sunday, October 26. Tee times are scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. each day. Daily recaps and results will be posted on GatorZone.com following the conclusion of play each day.
