Head Coach Becky Burleigh Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Becky Burleigh addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Burleigh shared the excitement of the team capturing the Southeastern Conference regular-season championship last week, when the Gators defeated Arkansas, 3-0, on Thursday, before topping SEC Western- Division leader LSU, 2-1, in Baton Rouge on Sunday.
She then previewed this week's regular-season finale, which takes place on Thursday, when the team travels to Columbia to play South Carolina.
Coach Burleigh also discussed and fielded questions about the significance of winning the SEC title, on the team's winning streak, on the resiliency of this season's Gator squad, on the impact Thursday's game at South Carolina has on the SEC Tournament seedings and on the play of sophomore Nicky Kitt , who was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Week.
