Head Coach Becky Burleigh Met with the Media on Monday
Monday, November 10, 2008 | Soccer
University of Florida head coach Becky Burleigh addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.
Coach Burleigh shared her assessment of the team's performance in last week's SEC Tournament, where the Gators advanced to the semifinals before falling to Georgia, 3-0.
She then talked about soccer's 64-team NCAA Championship field, which will be announced on Monday evening.
Coach Burleigh also discussed and fielded questions about starting games quicker, about attacking teams that 'bunker down' defensively, on coming off a loss entering the NCAA Championship and on the differences of playing at home versus on the road in the postseason.
