Head Coach Becky Burleigh Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Becky Burleigh addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Coach Burleigh shared her assessment of the team's performances in the first two rounds of the NCAA Championship, where the Gators defeated California, 2-1, before topping UCF, 2-0, to advance to the NCAA Round of 16.

She then talked about playing the region's No. 3 seed, Texas A&M, which UF plays host to on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Coach Burleigh also discussed and fielded questions about how this year's team compares to UF's previous NCAA Round of 16 teams, on the freshmen handling the pressure of NCAA competition, on the excitement of the team after advancing and on playing at home.
