Basketball's Adam Allen Joins UF Baseball Squad

Head Coach Kevin O'Sullivan and the University of Florida baseball team recently added another pitcher to its 2008 club with the announcement that 6'8" right-hander Adam Allen (Milton, Fla.), a freshman forward on the men's basketball team, is now a member of the Gators.
Allen played in all 36 games for head coach Billy Donovan's squad, which advanced to the semifinals of the NIT Tournament. He averaged 10.4 minutes, 4.0 points and 0.8 rebounds per game. O'Sullivan team will host North Florida (17-13/8-9 Atlantic Sun) in the opener of a two-game series at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
