Students Given Opportunity to Design Football Student Section T-Shirts

In conjunction with Pepsi, the University of Florida is giving UF students the opportunity to design the 2008 UF Student Football Ticket Holder T-shirt. Students can register for the contest by filling out a registration form and by attaching their design representing Florida football from May 7 to June 30 on www.GatorZone.com.
A judging panel consisting of a representative from the University of Florida art department, University Athletic Association and The Pepsi Bottling Group will narrow the field to three to five finalists. Voting will take place on www.GatorZone.com from July 7 to July 13 to select a grand prize winner.
In addition to having his or her design featured on the 2008 UF Student Football Ticket Holder T-shirt, the grand prize winner will also receive a cash award of $250 and a 2008 student season ticket. The first runner-up will receive a $125 cash prize and the second runner-up will take home $75.
Designs, which should represent Florida football, must be square and be no smaller than 6” x 6” and no larger than 1' x 1'. The actual art may not be three dimensional and must be in .psd (Photoshop) or .eps (Illustrator) format. Artwork cannot exceed five (5) colors and should be submitted to artwork@gators.uaa.ufl.edu; files also cannot be larger than 10 MB.
