Gators Enhance Ticketing Operations For Fans
Monday, September 8, 2008 | Football
Gator fans will have a more streamlined and efficient way of purchasing and inquiring about tickets, the University of Florida Athletic Association announced Monday afternoon.
The Gator Ticket Office is launching an enhanced ticketing system that will offer Gator Boosters and the general public a more user-friendly experience, including on-line ticket sales and account management. Fans also will be able to continue to order tickets as they have in the past by more traditional methods, including by phone, mail and in person.
Partnering with Ticketmaster, beginning with season ticket renewals for the men's and women's 2008-09 basketball seasons, fans will be able to buy tickets, renew season tickets, check their booster accounts and pay contributions on-line. The system will also allow fans to review booster membership information, including priority points on-line for any post-season football events in 2008.
"We are excited to be able to provide additional ticket services for our fan base," said Assistant Athletic Director Mark Gajda. "We will always maintain a personal relationship with our fans in the UF ticket office, but a segment of fans today want to have the option of doing business on-line."
Starting the week of September 8, fans will be able access the new on-line ticket system through GatorZone.com/tickets, the official ticketing website of the University Athletic Association. Fans should click on "Manage My Account" and then log in with their Account ID (Gator Booster Number) or e-mail address, and password.
