UF Football BCS National Championship Celebration Information

The University Athletic Association (UAA) will hold a celebration for fans to show their support for the BCS National Champion University of Florida football team on Sunday, Jan. 11. The event will be held from 1-2 p.m. at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium and the gates will open at 11:30 a.m. Sun Sports will also have exclusive live coverage recognizing the Gators' third national championship on the gridiron, presented by Universal Orlando Resort.
Seating for fans will be available in the North, South, West and East sections and there will be NO upper South or Sunshine seats open. Parking lots in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center lot will open at 8 a.m., and will be first-come, first-serve. In addition, shuttle bus service from the commuter lot and garage No. 9 will begin starting at 11 a.m. The Gatorshop located in the North End Zone inside of Gate 9 will be open and includes championship merchandise. Concessions from Boston Culinary Group, restrooms and first aid stations throughout the stadium will be available.
Prohibited Items
Food/drink containers, bottles, cans, thermoses ice bags, ice chests, any artificial noise making device, flags, weapons, umbrellas, strollers, back packs, carry bags, video cameras/cases or any items deemed hazardous by game management personnel will not be allowed in the stadium. Law enforcement officials have the right to inspect any item at any time for the purpose of spectator safety.
• There are no provisions to check items at the gates.
• Alcoholic beverages are strictly prohibited.
• Chairbacks larger than a single seat are prohibited.
