Gator Baseball Season Tickets On Sale
Thursday, January 15, 2009 | Baseball
Season tickets for the 2009 University of Florida baseball season are now on sale through the Gator Ticket Office. Under the direction of second-year head coach Kevin O'Sullivan, the Gators' 56-game schedule features 35 games within the friendly confines of McKethan Stadium at Perry Field. En route to an appearance at the 2008 NCAA Tournament, the Orange and Blue compiled a 27-6 (.818) record on its own turf last year.
This year, tickets can be purchased on-line as well. Prices haven't changed - as season tickets are still only $125 for Reserved Box Seats. Where else can you purchase tickets to 35 events for less than $4 each? Season-ticket holders reclaiming reserved seats from last season should do so prior to Monday, Feb. 2, 2009.
The Gators kick off their campaign on Friday, Feb. 20, when defending Big East Tournament champion Louisville arrives for the start of a three-game weekend series. UF hosts Sunshine State rival Miami three times over Feb. 27-March 1, has home Southeastern Conference series against Alabama, Kentucky, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee and meets Florida State on Tuesday, March 17 in the teams' lone matchup in Gainesville.
2009 Florida Baseball season tickets may be purchased by logging on to GatorZone.com or by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 1-800-34-GATOR, ext. 6800.
