Due to the re-air of the Florida Football Championship Celebration on “Breakfast with the Gators” airing on Sun Sports this Sunday, January 18, “Florida Women's Basketball Highlights with Amanda Butler” television show will begin at 12:30 p.m.
After the January 18th episode, “Florida Women's Basketball with Amanda Butler” returns to its initial air time of Noon ET, each Sunday throughout the season.
Initial air dates (subject to change) during the 2008-09 season for the remaining shows are as follows: January 25, February 1, February 8, February 15, February 22 and March 1 all beginning at Noon. Check www.GatorZone.com for updated air dates and times.
Sun Sports airs each of the shows, which are re-run several times each month to a state-wide audience in over 6.4 million homes. Sun Sports appears on Cox Cable channel 48 in the Gainesville and Ocala areas.
The show also airs locally in Gainesville and Ocala throughout the week on Cox Channel 15 and is also available to view on the web on GatorVision Online, Florida's official streaming video site.
Steve Babik, radio voice of the Gator women's basketball team, hosts “Florida Women's Basketball with Amanda Butler”, a 30-minute television show that began its second season on January 11th, takes an in-depth look behind the scenes of the basketball program.
