Danny Wuerffel to Host the Gator Growl Introductions

Gator Growl is pleased to announce a final surprise to the truly legendary 2009 lineup. Danny Wuerffel will be making a special guest appearance to host the introduction of the show. As one of the most decorated players in Gator history, Wuerffel's addition to the show brings past and present legends of Florida football together.
A former Heisman trophy winner himself (1996), Wuerffel has been a mentor to current quarterback Tim Tebow. One of Wuerffel's favorite memories from the national championship season was saying 'thank you' to the fans at Growl. Wuerffel says, "I'm very excited about coming back to the Swamp on October 16th." Wuerffel also commented that, "Growl is a great Gainesville tradition" and wants to see everyone at the Swamp to honor a great senior class.
