There were 16 former University of Florida football players that saw action in week five National Football League action, with 11 former Gators earning starting positions.
Andre Caldwell (Cincinnati Bengals) scoring his second game-winning touchdown of the season on Sunday on a 20-yard pass from Carson Palmer with 22 seconds remaining. He is the Bengals' second-leading receiver, with 18 catches on the season for 181 yards, and also has 346 yards on 17 kickoff returns.
Percy Harvin (Minnesota Vikings) earned the first start of his professional career in Week 5. He led the Vikings' in catches and reception yards as the Vikings easily defeated the Rams. His 18 receptions and 233 receiving yards both rank third among rookies. He also averages 31.2 yards per kickoff return, second-best in the NFL.

· LB Andra Davis, Denver – started at inside linebacker and recorded three tackles and one pass deflection in the Broncos' 20-17 overtime victory over the New England Patriots; the Broncos' defense leads the NFL in scoring defense, allowing only 8.6 points/game, and are second in total defense (252.8 yards/game)
· WR Jabar Gaffney, Denver – made six receptions for 81 yards in the win over New England, helping keep Denver undefeated
· RB Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay – did not play due to a hamstring injury; the Bucs lost 14-33 to Philadelphia

· DE Derrick Harvey, Jacksonville – started at defensive end making five tackles, one quarterback hurry and one pass deflection in the Jaguars 41-0 loss to Seattle
· WR Percy Harvin, Minnesota – started and lead the team with four receptions and 66 receiving yards in the Vikings 38-10 win over the St. Louis Rams; also returned one kickoff for 27 yards; Minnesota is the NFL's third-highest scoring team, averaging 31.2 points/game
· DE Jevon Kearse, Tennessee – was not activated versus Indianapolis
· S Marquand Manuel, Detroit – started at strong safety, leading the team in tackles with eight, in the Lions' 28-20 loss to Pittsburgh
· DE Bobby McCray, New Orleans – bye week; the Saints host the New York Giants in Week 6
· DE Ray McDonald, San Francisco – played but did not record a stat in the 49er's 45-10 loss to Atlanta
· DE Jarvis Moss, Denver – was not activated for the game versus New England
· WR Louis Murphy, Oakland – started and had one reception for two yards
· S Reggie Nelson, Jacksonville – started at free safety, making one tackle and a pass deflection in the loss to Seattle
