The University of Florida women's basketball team did more than just practice on Saturday.
Immediately following the team's second session of the 2009-10 season, former Gator alumna Sarah Lowe (2002-06) shared some of her experiences with the squad and talked about the importance of being a leader, practicing hard every day and standing up for each other.
The Gators then headed to the O'Connell Center, where outside of Gate 2 they signed autographs and posed for photos with fans at the Verizon Wireless FanFest on a beautiful afternoon prior to the Florida football's team game against Arkansas.
During that time, head coach Amanda Butler talked with Gator Boosters, who where inside enjoying a pre-football game lunch.
