Nine Former Gators On Opening Night NBA Rosters

Nine former Gators appeared on opening night NBA rosters, the highest total of any SEC school.
Mike Miller (Washington Wizards), Jason Williams (Orlando Magic), Udonis Haslem (Miami Heat), Matt Bonner (San Antonio Spurs), David Lee (New York Knicks), Al Horford (Atlanta Hawks), Joakim Noah (Chicago Bulls), Corey Brewer (Minnesota Timberwolves) and Marreese Speights (Philadelphia 76ers) all are on their respective team's opening night rosters.
It was a big night for former Gators in the NBA on the league's opening night. Al Horford had a double-double for the Hawks scoring 24 points and adding 16 rebounds in a win over Indiana. David Lee flirted with a double-double, leading the Knicks in scoring (22) and rebounding (9) in a loss to Udonis Haslem's Miami Heat. Jason Williams had 15 points and five assists for the Magic in a win over Philadelphia, while Marreese Speights had 26 points on 10-of-11 shooting off the bench for the Sixers.
