Nov. 14 is Dollar-Day Doubleheader for UF Women's Basketball-Football

November 14 is a Dollar-Day Doubleheader and University of Florida sports fans are in for a treat on Saturday, when the women's basketball team officially opens its 2009-10 season at 1 p.m., followed by a videoboard telecast of the Gator football team's 3:30 p.m. game against South Carolina.
General admission tickets for the basketball game are $1, with reserved seating still $5. Tickets can be purchased Saturday beginning at Noon at the O'Connell Center ticket window - Gate 1 - or during the weekday by visiting the Main Gator Ticket Office, located between Gates 1 and 2 on the west side of the Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, by calling the Gator Ticket Office at 352-375-GoUF (local) or 800-34-GATORS (toll free). Ticket Office Hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.
There will be a special $1 Menu for selected concession items during the basketball game only.

Football Game Viewing
Gates will open at noon for the 1 p.m. game, and fans must arrive by 2 p.m. in order to remain for the football game viewing, where the game will be broadcast on four large video screens, with the atmosphere of the Gator pep band, cheerleaders, dazzlers and more enhancing the event.
The concession stands will remain open throughout the football game at regular prices. The $1 Menu items are valid only during the basketball game.

*As an added reward, fans attending the women's basketball game on Nov. 14 will receive a 2-for-1 admission coupon good for the men's basketball game on Sun., Nov. 15 against Stetson at 4 p.m.
*The first 2,500 fans receive the 2009-10 Women's Basketball poster, as well as 2009-10 Men's & Women's Basketball schedule key tags.
Parking Shuttle
There will be a free PARKING SHUTTLE running from the Commuter Lot on Lemerand Dr., to Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center. The PARKING SHUTTLE service begins at Noon and runs until shortly after the conclusion of the Gator football game. Drop-off and pick-up is at Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center.
