Head Coach Amanda Butler Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Amanda Butler addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Coach Butler shared her thoughts about how this week's practice and how it might be different from those up until this point, as the Gators officially launch their 36th varsity season, playing host to Stetson on Sat., Nov. 14, with tip-off set for 1 p.m. in the O'Connell Center.

Florida returns nine letterwinners from last year's team that tied a program record with 24 wins and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Florida also welcomes five new faces to the court, including sophomore Jordan Jones, who is eligible this season after sitting out last year per NCAA rules for transfers.
