Gator Gymnastics Team to Appear in Seven Televised Meets in 2010 Regular Season

The University of Florida gymnastics team will be the most televised program of the Southeastern Conference, as seven of Florida's regular-season meets are slated to be aired in 2010, including two meets on national television. The seven meets will be televised on a tape-delay basis.
Back-to-back meets in February were selected to appear on the ESPN network. The Gators' dual at 2009 Southeastern Conference champion Alabama will be shown on ESPN2 on Feb. 21 at 11:30 a.m. ESPNU will air Florida's dual meet versus five-time defending NCAA champion Georgia on Feb. 25 at 9 a.m.

All seven of the teams will make multiple televised appearances in 2010. The University of Florida's agreement with SUN Sports gave the Gators two additional broadcast dates in addition to the league's schedule. | |

SUN Sports will air home meets against 2009 NCAA Super Six participants LSU (Feb. 6) and Utah (March 28) plus the North Carolina-Ball State triangular (March 14). The dual meet at Auburn will air March 6 on SUN Sports or Fox Sports Florida. The Gators' home opener versus 2009 NCAA Super Six participant Arkansas will air Jan. 19 on CSS.
The SEC Championship in Jacksonville, Fla., will air on ESPN2 on April 4 at 11 a.m.
