Gymnastics Meet the Team Set for Sunday

Florida fans will have their first chance to meet the 2010 Gator gymnasts at Meet the Team Day on Sunday, Jan. 3. The event will be held at the Ted Crom Gymnastics Studio, located inside the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. Admission is free and the event begins at 1 p.m. Fans should enter the O'Connell Center at Gate 4 for access to the gymnastics studio.
The day's program includes the UF gymnasts performing exhibition routines and the coaching staff pointing out skills to watch for in the 2010 Gators' routines. The team and coaches will also be available to sign team posters at the Gate 4 lobby following the event.
Florida is ranked No. 4 in the GymInfo preseason poll and returns four All-Americans from the squad that finished fourth in 2009 NCAA Championship Super Six competition.
Florida's 2010 season begins Friday, Jan. 8 at No. 9 Oklahoma. The home season begins Friday, Jan. 15 when No. 8 Arkansas comes to town. Meet time is set for 7 p.m. in the O'Connell Center. Tickets are $4.00 for adults, while children 17 and under plus UF students with ID are admitted free.
