Parking Shuttle Available for Friday's Gymnastics Meet
Wednesday, February 18, 2009 | Gymnastics
The University of Florida campus will be busy with events Friday evening, as the No. 23 Florida baseball team begins a three-game series with No. 8 Louisville at McKethan Stadium beginning at 6:30 p.m. The No. 6 Gator gymnasts play host to their only home meet of the month at 7 p.m. with a dual meet versus No. 8 Alabama at the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Parking will be available in the lot adjacent to the O'Connell Center. This lot is open at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, but is on a first-come, first- serve basis. There will be a shuttle that will run from the commuter lot located on Gale Lemerand Drive beginning at 5:30 p.m. The shuttle will drop patrons at Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center for access to both events. Fans attending the gymnastics meet can enter the O'Connell Center through Gate 1 or at Gate 2. Those heading to the baseball game can take the sidewalk to access McKethan Stadium at the south gate at the Lemerand Center.
This shuttle is free of charge and it is strongly suggested that patrons utilize this mode of transportation. The shuttle will run until a half hour following the conclusion of the final event of the evening.
Check out the Gator Outlook for a list of all the promotions for Friday's home events.
