Florida Soccer Continues Spring Schedule Friday, Feb. 27 with Pair of Matches vs. Nebraska

The University of Florida soccer team continues its spring season when it plays host to Nebraska for a pair of matches on Friday, Feb. 27. The two teams meet at 6 p.m. and again at 7:30 p.m. Both matches are 60 minutes in length. This is a change from previously published times. The matches will be held at the James G. Pressly Stadium and admission is free.
During the 2008 season, Florida turned in a record of 19-4-1, which included becoming the first team to post an 11-0 record in SEC play since the league started round-robin play in 2004. The Gators advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 and won its ninth SEC title. The Gators ranked No. 10 on the final National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) poll.
The Cornhuskers were 10-9-1 in 2008 and finished tied for fifth in the Big 12 standings with its 6-4 league record.
