Fans Can Make a Difference with Kids Care Program at Friday's Gymnastics Meet
Monday, March 2, 2009 | Gymnastics
Florida fans can make an impact on the team and area schools this Friday, March 6 when the No. 4 Gator gymnastics team faces No. 14 Michigan for its regular-season home finale. Meet time is at 7 p.m. in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center.
Fans have a chance to make a difference in area schools as part of the Kids Care program. For every five dollars ($5) worth of supplies a fan brings, he or she will receive free admission for one (1) adult. The elementary or middle school that brings the most representatives to the meet will win all of the school supplies collected and a visit from the Gator mascots, Albert and Alberta at their school! (The winner will be determined based off a percentage, due to enrollment variations).
In addition, every student is encouraged to bring their report card to Friday's meet. If they show their report card at the entrance, they will get one adult in free! (Only children 8th grade and under can participate in the report card program)
