Football Team Heads to Washington D.C. Thursday

The University of Florida football team has been invited to visit The White House on Thursday, April 23, 2009 to take part in a ceremony to honor the 2008 National Championship squad.
The 2008 Gator football team will be UF's seventh national championship team to visit The White House, joining the 1996 and 2006 football teams, the 1998 soccer team, the 1998 and 2003 women's tennis teams as well as the 2006 men's basketball team. The 1922 Gator football team also visited The White House.
