Out on Injury, Volleyball Star Finds Drive as Coach

A torn Achilles' tendon in the last regular-season match of her college career kept former University of Florida volleyball star Marcie Hampton from her final chance at an NCAA title.
That devastating injury back on November 24, 2007, also kept Hampton from trying out for the U.S. national team and eliminated any other professional playing career until the injury healed.
So Hampton did the next best thing to playing: She became a coach.
