Freshman Tessah Holt Shares Her Initial Thoughts of Life as a Gator
Wednesday, July 15, 2009 | Women's Basketball
University of Florida freshman Tessah Holt (Fayette County, Ga.) submitted her first blog entry, providing insight into her first three weeks of taking college classes and being a rookie on the Gator women's basketball team.
Holt's blog can be read on www.CoachAmandaButler.com. From the main page of the website, click on the “GATOR TALK” icon and enjoy!
Standing 5-foot-5, Holt is a true point guard and was named the 2009 Georgia Class AAAA Girls' Basketball Player of the Year by the Georgia Sports Writers Association and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution after leading Fayette County High School to the state title game her senior year. She is one of four true freshmen on the Gators' 2009-10 roster.
Also sharing a different perspective this year about what it's like to be a Gator is rising senior Steffi Sorensen (Jacksonville, Fla.), who has submitted several blog entries already. Those also can be read on www.CoachAmandaButler.com.
