New Video Board Project Nears Completion at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium
Friday, July 24, 2009 | Football
In an effort to further enhance the fan experience at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, the University Athletic Association is nearing completion on the installation of two new Daktronics High Density LED video boards and strip scoreboards, which will debut in time for the 2009 football season.
The size of the structures atop both the north and south end zones has not changed, but the face of each is now fully video-capable and will utilize the latest in LED video technology.
In addition to the installation of the new video boards – which was completed earlier this week – two new strip scoreboards are being added in the north end of the stadium.
Work on the project is expected to be completed by July 31st.
