Gator Hotline with Mary Wise Returns For Sixth Season in 2009

More popular than ever and back for its sixth season, Gator Hotline with Mary Wise is scheduled to go on location for no less than 15 shows during the 2009 season, it was announced Tuesday.
The volleyball-devoted hour-long call-in show is hosted by Tom Collett, the voice of Florida Volleyball, and features special appearances by former Gator Missy Whittemore. The show will take place live on-location from Beef O'Brady's in Gainesville. The first eight shows will take place from the restaurant's N.W. 43rd Street location, while the remaining shows will be at the Archer Road location. The season finale will air live from the studio.
The show airs on a regular basis every Monday night from 6-7 p.m. ET on WRUF-AM 850. The lone exception to that is Sept. 1, when the show will air on a Tuesday due to the team's Monday, Aug. 31 match-up with Florida State. Fans also can listen online at www.am850.com.
Florida opens its 2009 regular season by hosting the Campus USA Credit Union Invitational Aug. 28-29 in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center. The Gators' first match will take place at 7 p.m. ET Aug. 28 vs. UNLV.
