Gator Men's Hoops To Sign Autographs At Verizon Wireless FanFest On Saturday

The Florida men's basketball team will sign posters for fans outside of Gate 2 of the O'Connell Center on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. as part of Verizon Wireless FanFest prior to the football game with Tennessee.
The University Athletic Association will provide posters promoting the upcoming 2009-10 season for fans to get signed. Due to NCAA compliance issues, only posters are available to sign as players cannot sign outside items. Fans will have a one-hour window from 12:30-1:30 p.m. to grab autographs from head coach Billy Donovan and all of the Gator players.
The Gators return nine players off of last year's squad that went 25-11, while welcoming a strong young nucleus. Practice officially starts on Oct. 16, while the Gators' open exhibition play on November 2 against Saint Leo and the regular season on Nov. 15 against Stetson.

· Gator Radio Network - Live Pre-Game show (1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m.)
· Sun Sports - Football toss game with free t-shirts for participants
· Tobacco Free Florida - Giving away Free Tobacco Free Florida t-shirts
· Eckrich Meats - Free Sausage samples, Football toss
· UAA Marketing: Heat Initiative - Giving away iced down Gator neck ties, courtesy of AAA
· Gator Athlete Autograph Sessions

· Verizon Wireless - Interactive Sports lounge and free luggage tags
· EA Sports Interactive Zone - Giving away a free NCAA 2010 game and EA Sports t-shirts
· Oscar Mayer - Weinermobile with free prizes
· Texas Pete - Giving away 2 ounce bottles of hot sauce and Miss Texas Pete will be on site signing autographs
