Gators in the NFL - Week 2

There are 30 former Gators currently on NFL rosters. Here are some notes on how they did in Week 2:
- Former Gators totaled 46 tackles, six tackles-for-loss, four sacks, seven QB hurries, two forced fumbles and two pass deflections in Week 2 action.
- LB Andra Davis (Denver) is tied for seventh in the NFL with 19 tackles through the first two weeks; LB Mike Peterson (Atlanta) is tied for 23rd with 16 tackles.
- DE Alex Brown (Chicago) and DE Ray McDonald (San Francisco) are tied for fifth in the league with two sacks apiece.
- WR Percy Harvin (Minnesota) is tied for the lead among rookies with eight receptions; he is the only rookie wideout with two receiving touchdowns. Harvin also ranks fourth among all players in kick return average (29.7 yards per KOR).
- WR Louis Murphy (Oakland) is second among rookie wideouts with 113 receiving yards.
· DE Alex Brown, Chicago – started at DE for the Bears in the 17-14 win over the Steelers; totaled four tackles-for-loss, including two sacks for a loss of 18 yards, and two QB hurries
· WR Andre Caldwell, Cincinnati – caught two passes for 16 yards and had three kickoff returns for 67 yards in Bengals 31-24 win over Green Bay
· OT Cooper Carlisle, Oakland – started at right guard in Oakland's 13-10 win over Kansas City
· LB Channing Crowder, Miami – started at inside linebacker for the Dolphins and recorded one tackle
· LB Andra Davis, Denver – started at inside linebacker in the Broncos 27-6 win over Cleveland; led the team with 10 tackles, including two tackles-for-loss
· WR Jabar Gaffney, Denver – started and led the team with 82 receiving yards on three catches in the Broncos 27-6 win over Cleveland
· RB Earnest Graham, Tampa Bay – had two carries for 16 yards and one catch for three yards for the Bucs
· QB Rex Grossman, Houston – DNP
· DE Derrick Harvey, Jacksonville – started and had one tackle for the Jaguars
· WR Percy Harvin, Minnesota – caught five passes for 41 yards and a touchdown and rushed twice for 14 yards in the Vikings' 27-13 win over Detroit; also returned three kickoffs for 79 yards
· TE Cornelius Ingram, Philadelphia – DNP, torn ACL, out for season
· DE Jevon Kearse, Tennessee – started and had one quarterback hurry for the Titans
· RB Billy Latsko, San Diego – DNP
· S Marquand Manuel, Detroit – started and totaled six tackles for the Lions and forced one fumble
· DE Bobby McCray, New Orleans – had one sack for a loss of seven yards and recorded two quarterback hurries in the Saints 48-22 win over Philadelphia
· DE Ray McDonald, San Francisco – recorded two tackles, including one sack for a loss of seven yards, and one quarterback hurry in the 49ers 23-10 win over Seattle
· DE Jeremy Mincey, Jacksonville – DNP
· DE Jarvis Moss, Denver – played but did not record a stat in the Broncos 27-6 win over Cleveland
· WR Louis Murphy, Oakland – started and led the Raiders with two catches for 26 yards in their 13-10 win over Kansas City
· S Reggie Nelson, Jacksonville – started and recorded six tackles for the Jaguars
· LB Mike Peterson, Atlanta – started at outside linebacker and led the team with nine tackles, a pass deflection and a forced fumble in the Falcons' 28-20 win over Carolina
· CB Keiwan Ratliff, Pittsburgh – played but did not record a stat for the Steelers
· CB Lito Sheppard, N.Y. Jets – started and totaled two tackles and one pass deflection in the Jets' 16-9 win over New England
· LB Brandon Siler, San Diego – recorded one tackle for the Chargers
· OT Max Starks, Pittsburgh – started at left tackle for the Steelers
· RB Fred Taylor, New England – led the Patriots with 46 rushing yards on eight attempts
· DT Marcus Thomas, Denver – recorded one tackle in the Broncos 27-6 win over Cleveland
· OT Phil Trautwein, Cleveland – DNP
· DT Gerard Warren, Oakland – started and totaled three tackles and one quarterback hurry in the Raiders' 13-10 win over Kansas City
