The 2009-2010 Florida Women's Basketball season is just around the corner! The Gators are coming off of one of their most successful seasons ever! Last season, Head Coach Amanda Butler led the Gators back to the NCAA Tournament with a program record-tying 24 wins. Now, Coach Butler and the Gators are hungry for more.
In order to give the community a chance to get up close and personal with the 2009-2010 Florida Women's Basketball team, the Gators will be hosting the 2nd Annual Party in the Park on Sunday, October 11th from 1-3 PM. This event will be held at the City of Gainesville's Westside Park located at the corner of NW 34th St. and NW 8th Avenue. The Party in the Park is free and open to the public. Activities will include:
- Meeting the team and coaching staff with your chance to get autographs!
- Basketball skills clinic for kids 12 and under at 2:15 PM!
- Face-painting!
- Gator cheerleaders and mascots on-site for pictures!
- KISS FM live remote and prize wheel
Plus, you can purchase a $5 meal coupon for a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, and more!
Season tickets are now on sale! You can purchase your 2009-2010 season tickets at the Party in the Park.
