Head Coach Becky Burleigh Met with the Media on Monday

University of Florida head coach Becky Burleigh addressed the media Monday morning as part of the Gators' All-Sports Media Day.

Coach Burleigh provided her assessment of the Gators' Southeastern Conference opening weekend, when the team defeated Kentucky, 2-1 in overtime, and Vanderbilt, 5-1.

She then previewed this week's road games, when Florida travels to the Magnolia State to play at Mississippi State on Friday, Oct. 2, before facing Ole Miss on Sunday.

Coach Burleigh also fielded questions and discussed where the team is now compared with its last road trip (Sept. 4-6 to Indiana), on the strength of the non-conference schedule preparing for SEC match-ups, on playing on the road for the first time in almost a month and playing on different size fields.
