Gator Swim & Dive Hosts Splash Club Weekend Sept. 11-13

Florida's annual swimming and diving alumni and parents weekend will kick off Fri., Sept. 11, with the swimming and diving awards banquet and dinner, which will be held at the Gainesville Hilton Conference Center beginning at 7 p.m.
Saturday morning, the Gator Splash Club will hold a meeting at 8 a.m. at Gate 3 of the O'Connell Center lobby prior to the alumni swim meet, which kicks off at 9:30 a.m. from the O'Dome Natatorium.
Parking for the alumni meet will be available west of the O'Dome on Fraternity Row and at the new Lot 11 parking garage, located on the south end of Gale Lemerand Drive near the Shand's Cancer Center (Hull Road and Gale Lemerand Drive intersection). The lot 11 parking garage is an approximate 10 minute walk from the O'Connell Center, so Gator fans are asked to plan accordingly. Anyone staying at the Hilton may utilize the shuttle that runs from the back lot of the hotel to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Check with the front desk at the Hilton for details on departure and return times.
Gator swimmers, alumni and parents are invited to partake in a bar-b-que by Gate 3 of the O'Dome following the meet before heading to the stadium to watch the Gator football team take on the Troy Trojans. Kick off for the game is set for 12:21.
For those in town Sunday, head over to the University of Florida Golf Course for the Lou Brown Golf Tournament, slated to tee off at 9 a.m.
