Gator Women's Basketball to Host the Lady Vols Thursday

Head Coach Amanda Butler and the Florida Women's Basketball team host Pat Summit and the #4 Tennessee Lady Vols Thursday night in the Stephen C. O'Connell Center at 7 PM. The Gators (9-7, 2-1) are looking to get back in the win column after going on the road and suffering their first SEC loss of the season against #8 Georgia in a hard-fought contest.
Last season, the Gators knocked-off the Lady Vols in the O'Connell Center in front of the second largest Florida Women's Basketball home crowd in program history. The Gators are hoping to pack the O'Connell Center again for this year's contest. There are many special promotions for this Thursday night's game with something for fans of all ages. Don't miss your chance to watch this exciting SEC match-up live in the O'Connell Center!

Gates 1 and 4 will be open for entry beginning at 6 PM.
- The first 1,000 fans receive t-shirts courtesy of Gatorade
- The first 250 UF Students with valid ID receive free pizza and drinks at halftime and have opportunities to win great prizes
- Jr. Gator FunZone: Kids 12 and under may participate in face-painting, sign-making, games, and more
- UF Alumni Association Appreciation Night: All UFAA members with valid ID receive free general admission. The first 500 UFAA members receive a free hot dog.
- Golden Gators dance group to perform at halftime
- UF Fraternity & Sorority Challenge: Two groups that have the highest percentage in attendance will win $500 each towards their Dance Marathon totals
